Dr. Elijah Muange is an agricultural and rural development economist with over 15 years’ experience in socioeconomic and agronomic research in Eastern Africa. His experience and interests are in the following areas:
Social networks; agricultural technology research, management and dissemination; agricultural technology adoption; agro-dealer and nutritional studies; and project evaluations and impact assessments.
Dr. Muange has worked with agricultural research and commercial horticultural organizations. He has also carried out several consultancies on technology adoption and project evaluation.
Currently, Dr. Muange is the Coordinator, University Income Generating Units, and a lecturer at the Department of Agribusiness Management and Trade, Machakos University, where he teaches Agricultural Microeconomics, Marketing, Price Analysis, International Trade, Quantitative Techniques and Statistics.
